What you get
- Quotations that become orders. Send a quotation, confirm it into a sales order when the customer says yes, and invoice from it.
- Tax invoices with both TINs. Invoices print as tax invoices with your registration details and the customer's TIN where they have one.
- Emailed from the system. Quotations, invoices and statements go out by email, with a copy kept on the customer's record.
- Customer accounts and part payments. Receive a payment, apply it to one invoice or several, and see what remains open.
- Customer statements. Aged receivables and open items show what each customer owes and for how long.
- Credit notes. Reverse or partly reverse an invoice with a credit note that keeps the trail.
- GST recorded per invoice. Output GST is posted with the invoice and flows into the period statement.
- Invoice from the till too. A till sale can be turned into a full customer invoice when the buyer asks for one.
Built for the Maldives
A tax invoice in the Maldives needs the seller’s registration details on it, and a business buyer needs their own TIN on it to keep it for their books. The sales app prints both from the records, so nobody types a TIN into a document by hand.
Business customers here often pay part now and the rest later, by transfer. Part payments settle against the open invoices, the transfer is matched to the bank statement, and the customer statement is always current.
From quotation to payment
- Quotation. Prices, quantities and terms, emailed to the customer as a PDF from their record.
- Order. When the customer accepts, the quotation is confirmed into a sales order without retyping anything.
- Tax invoice. The invoice is created from the order and posted, which records the sale, the receivable and the output GST in one entry.
- Payment. A payment, whole or in part, is applied to the invoice, and a bank transfer is matched to the statement line.
If something changes after the invoice is posted, a credit note reverses it in full or in part and keeps the original in the trail.
Works with the rest of Odreca One
- Point of sale: counter sales stay at the till; quotations and full invoices come from here.
- Accounting: every invoice and payment is a ledger entry the moment it is posted.
- GST and MIRA: output GST from invoices goes into the period statement.
- Manufacturing: a deposit invoice on order and the final invoice on delivery for made-to-order jobs.
Who it is for
Shops that also supply offices and other businesses, service businesses that quote before they work, and anyone who sends invoices and then chases them.
Lion Stone, a convenience shop, issues quotations to office customers and runs customer accounts with part payments from the same system as its till.
Pricing
Odreca One is priced per business, not per user: from $59 a month, priced in USD and billed in Rufiyaa, with unlimited tills and locations and no hidden fees. Onboarding is a one-time fee that covers migration, setup and training. See pricing.
Questions people ask
Can I give a quotation to an office or a company?
Yes. Quotations are produced from the sales app, emailed to the customer, and turned into an order and invoice when accepted.
Do invoices show the customer's TIN?
Yes. Where the customer has a TIN on their record it prints on the tax invoice alongside yours.
Can a customer pay in instalments?
Yes. Part payments are applied to the open invoices and the customer's balance shows what is left.
Can I invoice a sale that was made at the till?
Yes. A point-of-sale order can be invoiced afterwards, so a business customer gets a full tax invoice.
Are invoices in Rufiyaa?
The books are kept in one currency chosen at setup. For shops that is Rufiyaa, and every invoice and statement is in it.
