What you get
- Registration and taxable activities. Your GST registration and each taxable activity are recorded, and every document knows which activity it belongs to.
- Activity and counterparty TIN frozen at posting. Each document records the taxable activity it belongs to and the customer's or supplier's TIN at the moment it is posted, so a correction made later does not rewrite history.
- Output and input GST at posting. Sales invoices, till sessions and supplier bills each record their GST as they are posted.
- Tax-inclusive retail pricing. Shelf prices include GST, and the system works the tax out of every sale.
- Output and input statements per period. The figures for the period on screen at any time, and exported as spreadsheets laid out on MIRA's own statement templates to attach to the return.
- Filing position. A dashboard per GST registration showing the period in progress, the output and input figures so far, and the exceptions to clear before filing.
- Period locking. Once a period is filed, lock it so the figures stay as they were submitted.
- Set up and checked by accountants. The tax configuration for each business is set up by practising accountants who prepare returns for a living.
Built for the Maldives
The return is only as good as the entries behind it. Odreca One stamps the taxable activity and the counterparty TIN onto every document at the moment it is posted, records output GST on sales and till sessions and input GST on supplier bills, and builds the period statements from those entries alone. Filing is then a review: the output and input figures the general goods and services return asks for, on screen, exported on MIRA’s own statement layout, and locked once submitted.
The official process, forms and current rules are published by MIRA at mira.gov.mv; returns are filed through MIRAconnect.
Works with the rest of Odreca One
- Point of sale: till sessions carry their GST into the statement.
- Sales and invoicing: output GST from every invoice.
- Purchasing: input GST from every supplier bill.
- Accounting: the ledger the statement is built from, and the period lock after filing.
Who it is for
Every GST-registered business that would rather review a statement than rebuild one, and the accountants who prepare returns for them.
Happy Store and Lion Stone both went live with their GST registration and activities configured before the first sale.

Odreca One is priced per business, not per user: from $59 a month, priced in USD and billed in Rufiyaa, with unlimited tills and locations and no hidden fees. Onboarding is a one-time fee that covers migration, setup and training. See pricing.
Questions people ask
Does Odreca One file my GST return with MIRA?
Returns are submitted through MIRA's own MIRAconnect portal. Odreca One prepares the figures for the period from your posted entries; you, or we as your accountants, submit them.
Which return does it prepare?
The general goods and services GST return, MIRA 205, for GST-registered businesses.
Where do the GST figures come from?
From the entries already in your books. Every invoice, bill and till session records its GST when posted, and the period statement adds them up. Nothing is typed in at filing time.
Can I see my GST position before the period ends?
Yes. The statement for the current period is available at any time, so there is no surprise at the deadline.
What about the GST rates and filing deadlines?
They are set by MIRA and change from time to time. The current rules are published at mira.gov.mv, and each business's system is configured to them.
Do you prepare and file returns as a service?
Yes. Odreca is run by an accounting firm. For businesses that want it, we keep the books and prepare the returns as a service on top of the software.
