What you get
- Runs on the hardware you have. A laptop or tablet with a browser, a standard receipt printer and a USB barcode scanner. No proprietary terminal to buy.
- Tax Invoice receipts. Every receipt prints with a Tax Invoice header, your shop's TIN and your address.
- Cash, card and bank transfer. A payment method for each, landing in its own account, so the bank statement matches line by line.
- The transfer reference, captured at the till. Record the bank transfer or card reference as the sale is rung up, and make it compulsory for the methods you choose.
- Customer accounts. Regular customers can buy on account. Their balance shows in the books, and part payments settle against what they owe.
- Quotations for business customers. Offices and other businesses get a proper quotation from the sales app, and the sale follows from it.
- Day-end close with a cash count. Close the session with a count; the day's sales, cash and card totals post to the ledger as one closed session.
- Unlimited tills and locations. As many tills and shops as you need under one subscription, each with its own receipts and cash control.
- Barcodes and categories. Scan barcodes, group products into categories, and see sales and profit by category.
- Stock moves as you sell. Every sale reduces stock, so the inventory app always shows what is on the shelf.
Built for the Maldives
Shelf prices in the Maldives include GST, so the till is set up tax-inclusive from day one: the price on the label is the price the customer pays, and the system works the tax out of each sale for the return.
Receipts print with a Tax Invoice header, your TIN and your address. A large share of payments here arrive by bank transfer, so the till has a field for the transfer reference, and you can make it compulsory, which is what lets the bank statement be matched line by line at month end.
Works with the rest of Odreca One
- Accounting: the session close posts the day’s sales, cash and card totals to the ledger, with the GST recorded.
- Inventory: each sale reduces stock; deliveries from suppliers add to it.
- Sales and invoicing: quotations for offices, and full tax invoices when a buyer needs one with their own TIN.
- GST and MIRA: till sales carry their GST into the period statement.
Who it is for
Corner shops, convenience stores, hardware shops, cafés and any counter business that wants the till and the books in one place.
Happy Store, an island general store, and Lion Stone, a convenience shop, both run their tills on it; their pages describe what was set up.
Pricing
Odreca One is priced per business, not per user: from $59 a month, priced in USD and billed in Rufiyaa, with unlimited tills and locations and no hidden fees. Onboarding is a one-time fee that covers migration, setup and training. See pricing.
Questions people ask
Does the POS need an internet connection?
Yes. Odreca One runs in the browser and needs an internet connection. It is hosted for you, so there is nothing to install or update on the shop computer.
What hardware do I need?
A computer or tablet with a browser, a receipt printer and, if you scan, a USB barcode scanner. We advise on the kit during onboarding.
Do the receipts count as tax invoices?
Receipts print with a Tax Invoice header, your TIN and your address. When a business customer needs an invoice with their own TIN on it, you issue a customer invoice from the sales app instead.
Can customers buy on credit?
Yes. A customer account method lets regular customers buy on account; the balance is visible in accounting, and part payments are settled against the open amounts.
Can I run more than one till or more than one shop?
Yes. Tills and locations are unlimited under one subscription per business.
Is the POS integrated with the accounting?
It is the same system. Every sale posts to the ledger with its GST when the session closes, so there is no end-of-day export and nothing to retype.
